This error seems to happen mostly in Windows 7 systems.In order to fix the problem you can try renaming the sqllite file in Windows/System32 or Windows/SysWOW64 to sqllite.dll.old. This will allow Right click this folder and rename it SyncServices_Old. Started having the syncing problem after updating to iOS5. it shows nothing...just blank page or a copy of my itunes library.. -there is no buttons to click that says restore or sync.. I was having problems receiving the gmail on my iPhone 4; that glitch probably explains why. It used to automatically pop up first and now nothing.

Just fyi this solution worked for me too. Running on Windows Vista, using my iPhone4s. Reconnect iPhone and open iTunes BTW It looks like you can sync just fine if you just ignore the error message but you can't. Where can i find it?

Must be since the last itunes update as it's the first time I've plugged my iphone in since then! iTunes in Task Manager shows up as not responding and after a few minutes it displays the following error: iTunes was unable to load data class information from Sync Services. all looks good.
Mine had stopped working before the most recent itunes update but again only started yesterday :S no idea what's going on!
