I'm reluctant to download software not knowing if it will work for this. Also, I live abroad and bought it in the States so sending it back is risky and will take a long time. crazy! A friend tells me he has heard if you let the battery die, when you recharge it, it fixes some issues *shrugs* I'll try anything once.

Apple products, as the service desk told me, are not repairable as Apple themselves do not provide spare parts sadly..The only option i have now is to repair it at home I have to boot up from either the wall plug, or turning the lock button on and off.
